You will receive an acceptance letter disclosing the reward amount. Shortly afterward, you will receive your check for the cash amount in the mail.

Question: How much money can I get?
Answer: The amount varies. While the average grant payment is usually between one thousand and ten thousand dollars, payments of one hundred thousand to one million dollars are made, depending on the needs of the grant recipient. Larger payments are usually for business startup costs.

Question: Can a person change their mind and use grant funds for different puposes?
Answer: While you may have difficulty getting grant funding in the future, there is no law against using the grant money for a different purpose than that which you originally applied for. The money is yours.

Answer: Grant money is completely independent from your personal credit rating. Your receiving grant money is entirely based on personal need, regardless of your credit history.
